I had clicked a box on the internet late one night, curious about what interest rates were doing, but not really very serious about refinancing just yet. In the next few days, I was deluged with calls from people who were wasting my time, either because they didn't know what they were talking about, or because they did not have a mortgage product which was applicable even though they seemed to think they did. When Stu Gersh called from Americash, I was thoroughly disgusted and tried to make him go away. Instead, he charmed me into continuing the conversation, and was so clued-in and responsive that we now have a new mortgage at several hundred dollars less per month than we were paying before, at virtually no cost to us. Everyone involved was intelligent, competent, and efficient.
