Initially I was hesitant to apply for a mortgage, but Chad put all of my worries aside within a minute of our first conversation. He is a true professional and I highly recommend him. Chad told me exactly what was needed to obtain the loan quickly and did not pressure me at all throughout the process. When I had a question he immediately answered his phone or returned my call promptly. Chad is extremely bright and knows the mortgage business very well. Again, I highly recommend Chad. Thanks!

I unequivocally recommend WestStar Mortgage and Chad Weinkoff as a loan officer. When I first connected with Chad, after exploring Lending Tree and comparing what WestStar Mortgage could offer, I was promised great service, great availability, credits toward closing costs and a rate that couldn't be beat. After working with this company (Chad Weinkoff and Stephanie Smith primarily), I can honestly say that they delivered on everything promised and more. I shared my rate and fees/closing costs from WestStar with other companies from Lending Tree and none of them could match it. One tried hard but called me back and told me that if what WestStar promised was true, then I should take it. All the call backs warned that if it sounds so good, it probably isn't and I should beware; however, Chad engendered trust and sounded knowledgeable so I took the chance. Am I glad that I did!!! There were lots of bumps along the way, none because of WestStar but rather because of my personal circumstances, and yet everything came together as promised. I had a question at 10:30 pm one night and I was pleasantly surprised that Chad was available. Another day, I had something that came up and I called the company at 8:00 am and both Chad and Stephanie got back to me. From my perspective, this was way above my expectations (and I wondered if Chad ever sleeps or has free time); but it was excellent customer service and follow through on everything. Emails were answered promptly, phone calls were answered immediately or returned within minutes. Chad was my champion all along the journey of getting this mortgage, from application to closing. Amazing experience.

Fresh Start

After having gone through a short sale a little over 2 year ago, no lender would give me the light of day, even though I had settled all my debt and my income was sufficient.
