I called because I needed some cash to pay off business debt. I already had a good rate and I didnt want to mess with it and start my entire loan term all over again. I've only been paying on this loan for 6 years but I would rather be done paying on this house in 24 more years instead of 30 again. Rather than starting a new loan term I was able to get a second mortgage which is great because i kept the same rate on my first. 60+ days to close a loan seems like too long to me but my loan rep reminded me that there was a lot of demand and that it was normal for all companies at this time. I got the cash so they get a good review.
