Chris is the Man

Chris is awesome. He is with you every step of the way, explains all of your options and keeps you updated about the stats of your loan. I call him in a regular basis just to check on rates and the direction of the market and he has never steered me wrong.

I had a pending refi with a big bank, but it was a total nightmare. I couldn’t get anyone to return my calls. I left messages for the Executives at the Corporate Office, I left message for the Supervisors, Team Manager, and back-up Managers but no one took my complaints seriously enough to call me back. I went online and made a couple of inquiries for a refi with other potential lenders and Chris Ross was the one who responded. We talked over the phone. I felt comfortable with Chris because he informed me about what’s happening in the economy, the market rates, and how the refi process works. He also informed me as to what to watch out for if I decided to go with someone else. I did continue to shop around and I came back to Chris—not only because he offered the lowest rate, but he educated me along the way. He made sure I understood every step of the process. He kept in constant contact. If he wasn’t in the office, I could always reach him on his cell or email. Even after the transaction was completed, he advised me to keep his contact information to stay in touch for any future questions.

I entered my information on Lending Tree and Chris Ross from HomePlus Mortgage was the first person who called. I did not need to take any calls after that. Chris got me a great rate and was fantastic throughout the process. Had a few problems with the appraisal and Chris went to bat for me and took care of it. Great guy and consummate professional.

Friendly and Organized

Chris did a great job. He always followed up on the process and provided the current status and the what the next steps were. He made sure I provided what was needed and so did escrow etc. There were no problems.
