I felt very fortunate to have found HomePlus through Lending Tree, The Senior Loan Officer (Chris Ross) whom I worked with was both knowledgeable and professional. My refinance was atypical since the HOA my unit was part of what not an "approved HOA" under FHA and VA. That complicated the process 10-fold, and Chris and his contacts were able to guide me through what ended up being a 3-month, very tedious process to get everything done. I had a pending refi with a big bank, but it was a total nightmare. I couldn’t get anyone to return my calls. I left messages for the Executives at the Corporate Office, I left message for the Supervisors, Team Manager, and back-up Managers but no one took my complaints seriously enough to call me back. I went online and made a couple of inquiries for a refi with other potential lenders and Chris Ross was the one who responded. We talked over the phone. I felt comfortable with Chris because he informed me about what’s happening in the economy, the market rates, and how the refi process works. He also informed me as to what to watch out for if I decided to go with someone else. I did continue to shop around and I came back to Chris—not only because he offered the lowest rate, but he educated me along the way. He made sure I understood every step of the process.
