2 refi's with Bryan

This is the second time I have refinanced my home, and both times I used Bryan Bowmer. Even though I locked down a 4.0 rate the first time, I had the dreaded PMI. Bryan, over the years keep in touch and continued to look through all my options. When my property values where high enough, that we could drop the monthly PMI and refinance with a low fixed rate, he worked out the numbers and helped me through the process. On a couple occasions the math didn’t support refinancing and Bryan never pushed to make a close, he just offered honest advice and made sure I knew he was eager to help. Finally when the entire math added up we decided to pursue a second refinance, and he was able to help me maneuver the process quickly and painlessly. I have considered buying a second house and will contact Bryan when that time comes. I have talked him up to friends and family and feel that he is honest, hardworking and is truly trying to develop long-term relationships over short term one-time gains, which to me is really what a person should look for in a loan agent. I can’t say enough about Bryan except that if you are looking to buy or refi you should work with Bryan.

One and Done...

This was my first home purchase. Bryan Bowmer, my Loan Officer, asked me to be patient and let him do his job. He warned me that the process was very detailed and lengthy, but also asked me to trust him and allow him to do his job. You can imagine how difficult it is to do such a thing, especially when you know so little about the subject. He said, "This is a great time to buy your first home. I promise you that I will get you a fantastic loan." He ended up getting me a rate just below 4.00% for an average size loan in Orange County. What I really appreciated about working with Bryan was that he was very honest and straight to the point. We started the process by submitting all of the regular documents that a lender requests. I was patient. Then, occasionally, the lender would request more information, which I provided graciously. Because I sent those documents in so quickly, Bryan was able to request a 10-day lock, which amounted to a wonderful rebate on my loan!! This benefited all parties involved, including the seller. I have to say that this option was brought to everyone's attention because Bryan saw an opportunity to increase the likelihood the loan would fund and to save money for both the buyer and seller. In regards to Bryan's work ethic, I have to point out that this is the person on your team at work that as soon as something needs to be attended to, they do it. Bryan never waits until the next day. He made calls and sent emails right then and there. It was almost annoying for our Real Estate Agent and Escrow Officer, because his emails almost seem to bother them with the speed of his requests. One thing I certainly have learned from this process is that the Loan Officer is by far the most knowledgeable about the entire process of purchasing a home. The other professionals allow the Loan Officer to guide them and dictate the pace of the paperwork. I am a very happy home owner now and would certainly recommend the DLJ Financial mortgage company, especially Bryan Bowmer, to manage the process of getting a loan and to find the funds getting you into a home. Bryan Bowmer was very professional, wants what's best for you, as quickly as it could happen, considering the highest probability of it happening. I imagine he has a very low failure rate. I let the professional do his job and I was greatly rewarded above and beyond my own expectations. Thank you, Bryan.
