Great Experience

We had a great experience and would definitely recommend West Star. Brandon was very professional and made sure all our questions were answered. Brandon was very patient and wanted to ensure our comfort level was there at each step before we proceeded. We had initially decided on another lender but Brandon's customer service and diligence in crafting the loan to best meet our needs won us over.

An excellent experience

I was undoubtedly a frustrating customer, frequently changing timelines as my construction project slipped schedules etc. Brandon was patient, responsive without being pushy, and really went above and beyond, to the point of scheduling a closing at 9pm at my house when my travel schedule got complicated suddenly. He was wonderful, professional, and I really appreciate everything he did.

Hands down winner, easy to deal with

Brandon was very easy to deal with, a true professional who was up late even after 11pm to make sure that everything is running smooth. He and his company saved my close to 0.5% on the interest rate which adds up to tens of thousands of dollars on a 30 year loan. Not only was the lowest rate I could find but also I received a 1.125% credit from him for closing. I would recommend him and his company without any hesitation. He and his company did my VA loan as smooth as one can hope and his experience showed in every step of the day. Thanks Brandon!

Above and Beyond

Brandon Cobb and WestStar went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with a mortgage refinancing. Once Brandon learned I was a veteran, he went out of his way to actually get my property approved for VA financing, a key move that I initially did not realize was a requirement for VA loans. After he expertly moved through that process, Brandon smartly moved through the documentation and verification of my eligibility and kept me informed with regard to the process every step of the way. Even once the loan was out of his hands, he made every effort to give me visibility as to the status of the loan in underwriting, quality assurance, etc., and he kept me in the loop with the title company that executed my closing. All in all, Brandon is an excellent loan officer, who more than exceeded even my particularly demanding requirements.
