I first spoke with a mortgage broker who advised me against using a bank, especially an out of town bank, because of greater potential for last minute details left undone that could delay my closing. Then the mortgage broker referred me to a credit counselor that charged me $1500 to clean up my credit. I then turned to Herring Bank just to see what they could do for me, the process was absolutely seamless, not to mention Mr. Graham gave me some advice (at no charge!!!!) so that I was able to clean up my own credit and it was done before the credit counselor even got started. I could not have been more pleased!
