I originally started out talking to Ben about a refi. I mistakenly decided that I would probably get better service using a local Savings and Loan. I headed down that path to find a lender who knew less than I did. I think she had just been promoted from teller. After 2 months of back and forth and $500.00 in appraisals and fees, they tell me that they can't use the appraisal that they ordered, that I paid for. Then I remembered a comment Ben had made early on. He said a lot of people can make you a loan, but its hard to find someone who can close one in a hurry. I told the Savings and Loan, that I had decided that doing business with them was no longer in my best interest. My wife asked what was I going to do next about refinancing the house and I told her that I was going to call Ben with Royal Mortgage. I called Ben back up, told him what happened, sent him the same information that the Savings and Loan had gotten from me and within 3 weeks he had my loan closed. A new friend

Ben was awesome to work with on my equity loan. I had a lot of anxiety about taking such a big step and he assured me we would go slow and I would understand everything along the way. He really took the time to go over each step, sometimes more than once, which I appreciated. His voice his calming and his demeanor pleasant. By the closing of my loan, I felt like I had a new friend.
